Description

Extends WooCommerce to allow you to display all images attached to a product in a new tab on the single product page.

Plugin Features

ADD PRODUCT TAB – add a new tab to the product page to display all the product images.
TAB SETTINGS – Manage the tab settings from the Woocommerce settings and select the image size, tab name or enable the lightbox.
RENAME THE TAB – Don’t keep the tab name “images” and rename the tab to anything you want like “screenshots” or “gallery”.
ENABLE THE LIGHBOX – Highlight your product image by activating a lightbox when a customer clicks on it. It works on all modern browsers.
DISABLE IMAGES TAB – Diable images tab for some products only using the checkbox in the general settings of the product.
SELECT IMAGES SIZE – Select between thumbnail, medium, large or full to change the size of the images displayed under the product tab.

How to install the plugin?

Automatic installation

Automatic installation is the easiest option as WordPress handles the file transfers itself and you don’t even need to leave your web browser. To do an automatic install of WooCommerce Images Product Tab, log in to your WordPress admin panel, navigate to the Plugins menu and click Add New. In the search field type “WooCommerce Images Product Tab” and click Search Plugins. Once you’ve found my plugin extension you can view details about it such as the the point release, rating and description. Most importantly of course, you can install it by simply clicking Install Now. After clicking that link you will be asked if you’re sure you want to install the plugin. Click yes and WordPress will automatically complete the installation.

Upload installation

First, you need to download the plugin from the source (which will be a zip file).
Next, you need to go to WordPress admin area and visit Plugins » Add New page.
After that, click on the Upload Plugin button on top of the page.

This will bring you to the plugin upload page. Here you need to click on the choose file button and select the plugin file you downloaded earlier to your computer. After you have selected the file, you need to click on the install now button. WordPress will now upload the plugin file from your computer and install it for you.

Manual installation

The manual installation method involves downloading my plugin and uploading it to your webserver via your favourite FTP application.

Download the plugin file to your computer and unzip it
Using an FTP program, or your hosting control panel, upload the unzipped plugin folder to your WordPress installation’s wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin from the Plugins menu within the WordPress admin.

Upgrading

Automatic updates should work like a charm; as always though, ensure you backup your site just in case.
